Iran animation‘Roobi and Chickens’ has been scheduled to be screened at the 58th edition of Annecy International Animated Film Festival in France.
Co-directed by Babak Nekooei and Behnoud Nekooei, the animation is to represent Iran at the French film event.
The serial is about an alien that comes into a forest with his spaceship in search of food and ends up in the house of a fox named Roobi. Roobi realizes that the alien can help him solve his problem involving a rooster who lives nearby.
The TV series has been made in 26 episodes.
Annecy International Animated Film Festival was created in 1960 and takes place at the beginning of June in the town of Annecy, France. Initially occurring every two years, the festival became an annual event in 1998. It is one of the four international animated film festivals sponsored by the Association Internationale du Film d'Animation (or ASIFA, the International Animated Film Association).
The event is slated for June 11 to 16, 2018, in Annecy, France.
